"Holy, Holy, Holy"
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee;
Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and mighty;
God in three persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, Holy, Holy! All the saints adore thee;
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
Which wert, and art, and evermore shall be.
Holy, Holy, Holy! Though the darkness hide thee,
Though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see;
Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee,
Perfect in power, in love, and purity.
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name in earth and sky and sea;
Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and mighty;
God in three persons, blessed Trinity! Amen.

THE
MEMORIAL LITANY
DEDICATION: THE ARKANSAS
" I HAVE A DREAM" MEMORIAL I N HONOR OF
DR. M A R T I N LUTHER K I N G , JR. (1929-1968)
Leader: Blessed are those who lack any Spirit of the World — any Spirit of
worldliness: For their life is and is in the Kingdom of God.
People: Blessed are those who mourn because they are hurt by the spirit
of evil in the world: For they shall be comforted in the bosom of
the Spirit of God.
Leader: Blessed are God's Gentle Human Souls: For in their gentle,
persistent Patience in God, they will reap Harvests of God's
spiritual inheritance on and in the earth.
People: Blessed are those who ache with pains of hunger for the Truth
of God; whose spiritual throats are parched from consistent
thirst for the Truth of God and the Righteousness of God: For
their souls w i l l be overshadowed, refilled to overflow; so that,
they are born anew i n God.
Leader: Blessed are those who live in the Mercy of God: For throughout
their living, they shall reap harvests of plenty in the renewed and
renewing Mercy of God.
People: Blessed are those who are pure i n heart: For purity i n the Spirit
of God, through Christ, is the prerequisite for the vision to see
God.
Leader: Blessed are those whose living does not compromise or confound
the Truth of God that brings the Peace of God to those worn by the
sinfilled rebellions of the world: For by their loving hearts, they
shall be called: The Children of God.
People: Blessed are those whose daily living is Dedicated to God in and
for God's righteousness, to the extent that they allow their lives
to be persecuted on account of their dedication to the Righteousness of God: For their inheritance is the Kingdom of God.
All:
Blessed are those who are ridiculed, rejected, unsung, ignored,
overlooked, understated, oppressed, reviled, persecuted
(falsely) for the Sake of God, through Christ: For great, i n
Heaven, is their reward, and great is their Joy i n Heaven.
AMEN.
