The Dr. Mari Luise Huth Photo Album Collection is a four volume set of photographs that were compiled between 1925 and 1955. Each photo album includes pictures of Dr. Huth and her relatives as they traveled to Zurich, Egypt, Venice and the island of Sylt in Northern Germany. There are also candid shots of Dr. Huth in Hamburg, Germany and her campus homes in Greensboro, North Carolina and Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.

Biographical Text
Dr. Mari Luise Huth was the Chairman of the Modern Languages Department at Philander Smith College and was a faculty member from 1956 until her passing in 1965. A native of Hamburg Germany, Dr. Huth completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University. She received her Masters degree in 1935 and went on to earn the Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1939 from the University of North Carolina (Philander Smith College Bulletin, 1957).
