The Philanderian Yearbooks chronicle over 50 years of Philander Smith College's history through the lens of the Senior Class. These annuals were composed and edited by the student Yearbook Staff and with the help of faculty advisers. The earliest "pictorial" editions of The Philanderian Annual debuted in the 1940's. Each edition includes photographs of Philander Smith College students, faculty, staff, campus buildings, events and student organizations as well as historical and biographical information about the College and its constituents. The Philanderian Yearbook Collection includes issues published from 1942-1998.
